We all have our favourites, but why not experiment a little with your coffee?
Thai Iced Coffee (serves 4)
1st October 2014

Ingredients:

4 cups (equivalent) of strong ground coffee

4 tablespoons sugar

4 tablespoons cream

2 teaspoons ground cardamon

1 teaspoon almond flavouring

Crushed ice



Method:

1 – Add the cardamom to the ground coffee and brew as normal

2 – When the coffee is brewed, add the sugar and almond flavouring, mix well and then let the coffee cool to lukewarm.

3 – Half-fill four tall glasses with crushed ice

4 – Fill each glass to about two-thirds full with coffee

5 – Stir 1 tablespoon of cream into each glass and enjoy!

Café Bonbon (French for ‘Candy Coffee’)

Ingredients:

Strong brewed coffee

Condensed milk



Method:

1 – Pour one shot of strong brewed coffee into a small glass

2 – Now pour in an equal amount of condensed milk

Note: The two liquids should stay separated until stirred.

Coconut Latte
1st October 2014

Ingredients:

Strong brewed coffee

2 tablespoons of coconut cream

2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup

Steamed milk

Grated chocolate

Grated toasted coconut



Method:

1 – Pour two shots of strong brewed coffee in a cup or mug

2 – Stir in the coconut cream and chocolate syrup

3 – Fill the cup or mug with steamed milk

4 – Top with the grated chocolate and coconut
